Visits

Bodegas Protos has the privilege of having been engendered in the heart of one of the most important fortresses in the area – Peñafiel Castle –, a landmark for the Castilla y León region and the venue of the Wine Museum.

Protos allows the possibility to visit its two wineries: the oldest that extends through the interior of the mountain, and the new one that was designed by the architect Richard Rogers (Architects Rogers Strik Harbour + Partners and Alonso Balaguer y Arquitectos Asociados). All visits include a tour of the two wineries and a wine tasting at the end of your tour. Tourist Visits

Visits are 1.5 hours long on average, including a tasting of one Verdejo white wine and one crianza red wine. Please note that our tours are available upon demand for individuals or groups and visits require a minimum of 8 people.

Optional visits are available for a minimum of 8 persons that include the tasting of several wines:

Protos Diversidad Visit

It includes a tasting of one Verdejo white wine, one rosé wine, one oak-aged young wine and one crianza wine. Price: 15 €/person.

Protos Gran Selección Visit

Option A: a guided tasting of three top-range wines –crianza, reserva and seleccion- takes place at the end of the visit.
Price: 20 €/person.
Option B: a guided tasting of three top-range wines –reserva, selección and gran reserva- takes place at the end of the tour.
Price: 25 €/person

Visita técnica

Visita destinada a profesionales del sector del vino que soliciten una explicación mas técnica sobre el proceso de elaboración de nuestros vinos, incluyendo una cata mas detallada. Precio: 10 €/ persona
