The famed architect Richard Rogers, yesterday afternoon visited the facilities of Bodegas PROTOS. Designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, as chief architect, in collaboration with Alonso Balaguer y Arquitectos Asociados, Protos has become since its opening in Spring 2009, in the most visited winery in Ribera del Duero, having hosted over 35,000 wine tourists.
Rogers did not want to miss the opportunity to live the wonderful spectacle of the harvest . Also took the opportunity to relive every corner of his work in what were once just paper planes and a dream to fulfill.
Thanks to this genius, the project is now a reality.
