The new vintage of Protos Roble 2009 has just landed in the market
This vintage is marked by a winter cycle which was characterized by historically high temperatures in the Ribera del Duero, an increase of about 5 ° C in the month of January
Method of preparation
Grape wine made from 100% Tinta del País, manually harvested under a strict quality control and personalization of the PROTOS winemakers, who care to detail each of the processes. The fermentation and maceration was carried out in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 28 º C and for maximum color and structure. After this period, the wine was transferred to American and French oak , where it rests for six months.
Regarding his tasting notes, Protos Roble 2009 color is red with a purple border, denoting youth. This wine is clean, very fresh nose of remarkable intensity. Red fruit aromas with subtle spicy and pleasant toasted. The palate has good structure, fruit, fresh sweet way, balanced with soft tannins and very nice. It is the perfect wine to accompany fish dishes in sauce, rice, pasta, light meats, soups, vegetables. A wine that never disappoints in the best restaurants or the most demanding palates.
