Bodegas Protos has held the first edition of the awards "Ser Primero" (Being First). The event also served to inaugurated the new winnery designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour Partners in collaboration with Alonso Balaguer y Arquitectos Asociados.
Protos, from its identity and brand mark, appropriates and identifies with the concept "Ser Primero", which refers to what has traditionally Protos has beenin the world of wine. PROTOS, whose meaning in Greek is"First", is proud and privileged to have found maturity and rest in the biggest and first of the wineries in the area, maintaining its reputation over time. "Ser Primero" is also about leadership, reputation, quality, distinction, originality, innovation, is the attitude of trying to be the number one, the first move and the first to offer something new. These are the qualities that have identified the company in its hundred year history and, in this case, also identify the winner chosen by Bodegas Protos. With the award "Ser Primero 2010" is recognized the work of people or institutions with a track record of leadership on the national scene. The Government of Castilla y Leon was the winner of the award, at a ceremony carried out at the headquarters of the winery.
