The increase in their sales means more than one million euro turnover
In the midst of economic recession, Bodegas PROTOS increased its turnover by more than one million euros during the first fiscal quarter, representing a 20% increase in sales over first quarter last year.
In the case of PROTOS this 20% increase in sales translates into a 22% value, which means that it will increase market share. The most demanded Protos wines are the highest quality one, and therefore they are the most sold. That happens happens in wines of Ribera del Duero and Rueda. Although both names growing in market share by 17% and 10.5% respectively in the first quarter of the year, PROTOS has grown well above average.
PROTOS EBITDA (“Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization”) is a 34% sales, 45% more than the same period of 2009.
