Conde Nast Traveller announces the winners of its third annual Innovation and Design Awards, held once again in association with Marriott Hotels & Resorts. Presented at a special ceremony held on the evening of Monday 27th April at Renaissance Chancery Court London, High Holborn, the evening was hosted by Sarah Miller, Editor of Conde Nast Traveller.
GOURMET A solid conflation of gourmanderie and architecture, the Bodegas Protos Winery in Penafiel, Spain, designed by Rogers, Stirk, Harbour + Partners and Alonso Balaguer Arquitectos Asociados wins this honour. The serried, parabolic roofs make a lovely curve, and bring to mind lines of bottles in a well-stocked cellar.
